THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY

Challenge

To improve the efficiency of components such as electric motors, materials with enhanced thermal conductivity are required.

Solution

On the basis of standard Duresco epoxy moulding compounds with a thermal conductivity of approx. 0.8W/mK, Duresco develops materials with the following characteristics:

• Thermal conductivity to approx. 2.4 W/mK
• Good adhesion to a wide variety of inserts
• Isotropic heat dissipation even in thin layers
