Epoxy moulding compounds are high-performance thermosetting plastics that are suitable for either transfer or injection moulding. These thermosets are our area of expertise – and it is here that we concentrate our efforts. In practice, they have to meet the following specifications:

• Outstanding electrical insulation properties
• High dimensional stability and temperature resistance combined with good mechanical properties
• Low viscosity, thus ensuring hermetic, non-damaging encapsulation of inserts
• Low water absorption combined with outstanding chemical resistance
